I also wanted to make the lyrics a tinyyyyyy bit relatable to other people. I wanted to keep the situation vague, and I believe I accomplished that. I tried to write these lyrics as if I had just went through this event again, and I had to rewrite them many times as I gave too much of the situation in other drafts. I truly regret what I did to 2 of my best friends in the entire world, and I now will never earn their trust or friendship again. REGRET is very personal to me despite the sucky tumblr-esque lyrics.
